Seven (1995).

Watched this on 14.09.14. (7*2).(7+2).(7*2) :D That was coincidental.

Now, the description:
1. The seven colors representing the seven sins. Red being wrath. The Orange is the color of the dress Kevin Spacey's character was wearing while he was executed by Brad Pitt's character. I guess that was a symbolism used in the film. 'Coz Kevin Spacey's character was Envy. And according to the VIBGYOR thing, it is exactly the second last color. The second last death in the film.
2. The two lines represent the two detectives. Left one is Brad Pitt's character. Right one is Morgan Freeman's.
3. They are cops/detectives hence the black and white stripes. Morgan Freeman's character is more composed and observing (slow and steady, more experienced, hence the shorter gradations). Brad Pitt's character is impulsive (rapid, less experienced, hence the larger gradations).
4. The lines are converging towards the bottom. Depicting the solving of the mystery.
4. Brad Pitt's character's line ends below the wrath (Red) circle. because he himself represents wrath. His investigation ends there.
5. Morgan Freeman's character lasts till the end and is not directly a part of the sins. Hence his line is the topmost layer. Showing the overarching character that he represents there.
6. The line that represents Morgan Freeman's character also depicts the metronome type thingy that is shown used by him. It gives one more thought lead to the film stating that the whole film is basically the character's dream. Read here.
7. All values used to make this artwork are either multiples/squares of 7. I didn't intend to end it here. This is also a coincidence.

  2. Awesome! Even the black and white gradations on the two lines are 7 and 14. Cool!

    1. Yes. Read point 7. I had mentioned it there. There are other technical details values of which are also either multiples or squares of 7.

      Thank you bdw, Harsh! :)
