Haider (Vishal Bhardwaj, 2014).

The elements:
1. The flush represents the one used in the film behind which the gun was hidden by Haider.
2. The chain with which the flush can be pulled represents Intekaam or revenge. Throughout the film there are a string of cause and revenge incidents. The chain also represents the trigger of the gun, which Haider doesn't pull in the end.
3. It's broken towards the end. Haider breaks the revenge pattern. Haider is the hiatus. (Notice that the chain's end is attached to the I in Haider. That represents the self of Haider. His unadulterated decision-making self) To me, that is the whole moral of the story. Of course, there are & can be other ways to look at the film as well, but this moral struck me the most.
4. The color of the BG is a pale blue. the color of winter. Extreme coldness. The environment and atmosphere of Kashmir. Of revenge.
5. The three strokes of black-red-black just behind HAIDER represents the symbolic, very graphic part of the film, the strokes of color Haider applies on his face. It kinda represents him.
6. The black gradient right behind the flush, the radial gradient, is basically the darkness of avenge that is emanating from the gun hidden behind it. Plus, it adds to the aesthetic flavor of the illustration.
